Current Opportunities For ALL Kindergarten - 3rd Grade Students
EOU Student Writers’ Workshop
The EOU English/Writing program hosts the Student Writers’ Workshop for young writers in grades 3-12 on the second Saturday of every March on the Eastern Oregon University campus in La Grande. This year’s event is March 14, 2020. FridayPlus will be taking a bus with four adult chaperones. Parents are encouraged to join us. Parents may ride the bus pending space and an approved background check.
Students from across Eastern Oregon, along with teachers, parents, and chaperones, participate in an opening session, write in concurrent sessions with topics such as journalism and poetry, eat lunch in the EOU cafeteria, and celebrate their writing in an open mic.
